A propane smell near the pool area is concerning!!! The tiny, poorly maintained pool leaves much to be desired. The lower level rooms have a mildew odor that needs addressing!!! Clearly, some upkeep is necessary here!!!

The rooms are big size with magnificent views. A microwave oven, tea and coffee making equipment, and a fridge are a nice touch.

Nothing could have been better.

Efficient, amicable staff, marvellous location not far from a lake or forested grounds and mature pines which were bravely preserved by local women in 1919 and northern Minnesota. Also, to restaurant 8 miles away.

We really enjoyed our stay and loved having takeout Mexican food while watching the Olympics in our super clean room! The heated swimming pool and the cozy leisure room were perfect spots to relax after long drives. Just a heads up, the breakfast was pretty standard, but we still had a blast 🌟

there was a dead bird outside the pool area, which was kinda off-putting. but honestly, the breakfast on saturday was super tasty, the staff gave us awesome dining tips, and the location's perfect for grabbing snacks.

I stayed in the Beautiful Double Room, and it was super spacious and comfy. Plenty of room for my family, and the beds were nice and cozy! The breakfast was a hit with the kids, offering lots of choices. But there was a strong smell of propane while outside near the pool, and we spotted a dead bird that didn't get picked up the next day. Tho, the room was a comfortable spot for us during our trip.

The pool area was relaxing, and we enjoyed activities like cycling nearby. Saturday morning breakfast was excellent with plenty of tasty options. Just set your expectations for the breakfast variety on Sundays, as it wasn't as abundant.

The breakfast spread was mind-blowing with a variety of options included! the spacious and comfortable room, accompanied by the friendly front desk staff and awesome big towels, left me super impressed. the hotel's decor was jaw-dropping, and the easy check-in process, along with the super toiletries, added to the overall amazing experience. the retreat-like atmosphere, complemented by the spa-like pool setting and the lovely picnic spot at Pine Grove Park just made my stay unforgettable. Can't wait to go back for another fantastic stay!
